Primary Kindness Initiative

Thanks to a melding of ideas from Mr Shanshank, Mr Eley and the Year 6 students, Primary has begun a Christmas Kindness Advent Challenge. With this special advent calendar, Primary students are invited to do an act of kindness every day during the advent season. Some examples of this are “Compliment three people today” or “Check on an older family member or neighbour.”

Year 6 persented these ideas to the rest of the primary department today.

For every three days where the complete the task of the day, they will receive one house point. They are also encouraged to bring in a toy or book which they are no longer using (which is still in good condition) which will be donated to charity. Year 6 are collecting these items, and the deadline to donate is 9 December.

Please encourage your primary children to be as involved with this as possible, as these acts of kindness will really help to build an even more positive school community.
