Welcome Back!

At the end of last year, our school community came together for a successful Bump-Up Day. Students had the chance to step into their new classes, meet future teachers, and get a small taste of the year ahead. The energy, curiosity, and excitement they brought into that day was inspiring, and now, as we begin this new academic year we’re ready to build on that experience.

A Fresh Start to the New School Year

The first day of school is designed to be welcoming, structured, and purposeful. It’s about reconnecting with friends, meeting new classmates, and starting off with clarity and confidence. Teachers will welcome students in the lobby or outside the school entrance and gather the class.  Students will spend time getting to know their classmates, reviewing expectations, and learning about timetables and routines.

The school community will gather for an assembly to outline the year ahead, including events and trips. We will also review shared values, goals, and what meaningful participation looks like. From here, students follow their regular timetable with orientation and introduction lessons. Teachers will establish class-specific routines and expectations to ensure a smooth start.
