EISB Academy Students Engage in Meaningful Service Work at Hrad Biely Kameň

At EISB, learning goes beyond the classroom — it’s about making a positive impact in the community and connecting with history firsthand. Recently, a group of our students took part in a rewarding service project at the historic Hrad Biely Kameň, one of Slovakia’s treasured medieval castles.

The students spent the day at the castle grounds, working together to help preserve this important cultural landmark. Their tasks included clearing overgrown vegetation, cleaning pathways, sorting rocks for wall reconstruction and repair, and assisting with light maintenance around the site. This hands-on experience gave them a unique chance to contribute to heritage conservation while developing teamwork and responsibility.

The service project at Hrad Biely Kameň perfectly aligned with EISB Academy’s values of community engagement, environmental stewardship, and experiential learning. Our students left the castle not only proud of their contributions but also inspired to continue making a difference.

We applaud the commitment and enthusiasm shown by all participants and look forward to more opportunities where our students can learn, serve, and grow together. This day at Hrad Biely Kameň was a shining example of how education can extend beyond textbooks — shaping compassionate, active citizens of tomorrow.
