Reading Challenge at Our School: Year 5 Wins!
This term, I organized a special reading competition for Primary students at our school. The goal was simple: to read as many Slovak books as possible. Each class worked hard and encouraged one another to read more and more.
It was amazing to see how excited the students were about Slovak literature. Many visited the library more often, brought books from home, and enjoyed sharing their favourite stories with their classmates.
After several weeks of reading and counting books, we finally had a winner — Year 5! They read the most Slovak books and showed a true love for reading. Congratulations, Year 5!
As a reward, the Year 5 went to the cinema — a well-deserved prize for their fantastic effort.

I’m very proud of all the students who took part. I hope this challenge inspired them to keep reading, even when there’s no competition involved.
