Fur, Feathers, and Fins: Y3’s Creative Creatures

In unit 2, our Year 3 students dove beak first (pun intended) into the world of animal adaptations, learning how creatures evolve unique traits to survive in their habitats. From camouflaged algae-covered sloths to furry arctic foxes, the students explored the wonders of the natural world and applied their knowledge in an exciting creative project.

One standout project came from Ela Ahmed, who designed an imaginative pet equipped with some extraordinary adaptations. Her creation featured wings to carry her off to discover distant lands, as well as a rainbow horn for catching its own prey (saving her a job). The project showcases how much fun learning can be when we combine science with imagination.

We’re so proud of our young ecologists and their creative minds. Stay tuned for more adventures in learning! 🌍🐾
