Giving Thanks and Celebrating Autumn Together

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, traditions, and togetherness. This year, we introduced our primary children to the meaning of Thanksgiving, exploring its history, traditions, and special symbols. One of the highlights was learning about the cornucopia, often called the “horn of plenty,” symbolizing abundance and harvest.

The children participated in exciting activities to embrace the spirit of Thanksgiving. Together, they created a giant Thanksgiving turkey. Each child wrote what they were thankful for on a colorful feather, adding to the turkey’s vibrant display. This project helped everyone reflect on gratitude and share their thoughts with others.

In our Environmental Club, the children crafted beautiful cornucopias, decorating them with autumn crops like pumpkins, corn, and apples.

These activities brought Thanksgiving to life, helping our children learn, express gratitude, and celebrate this meaningful holiday together.
