Student Highlight: Viktoriia (MYP2)
In their previous unit, MYP 2 students explored various innovations/ inventions/ discoveries and the impact they have had on the world.
For their summative assessment project, students were encouraged to choose a topic that was personally interesting, relevant, and meaningful to them. Viktoriia chose the discovery of gravity and explored the question “How has the discovery of gravity impacted the world?”. She then created a presentation to demonstrate her knowledge and understanding of the topic, including different perspectives on the discovery of gravity.Β
Viktoriia worked diligently on her project and produced a great final result. She made a presentation to communicate her work to the class. Importantly, Viktoriia also showed great initiative when she volunteered to present her work at the EISB exhibition day. It is always great to see when students step outside of their comfort zone and take ownership over their learning like this π
