EISB’s Ema Ahmed takes SILVER at World Olympiad
Last week, Ema Ahmed, EISB’s DP Valedictorian for 2024, sacrificed attending her graduation
to participate in this year’s world olympiad finals in New York, USA. After winning the Slovak National Finals in 2023, she was accepted to compete at the world level. It was a great opportunity, however the attending would mean she would miss her own graduation. How does one choose between 2 life changing events?
Ema chose the Olympiad which hosted over 1000 students from around the world. “I loved the international expereince spending time with students from around the world.”
Ema was entered in the Science Olympiad which saw over 400 entries. And exactly at the same time as her graduation, Ema was awarded the Silver.
“Ema has come a long way since we first started working together,” share the head of Science and Math at EISB, “I wouldn’t have imagined this for her 2 years ago.” Ema smiled as she listened, and recongized the compliment to her dedication and hard work.
Congrats Ema, we know you’ll do amazing things at University.
