A Fun Day Learning About Money and Creativity

Our Year 2 class recently had an exciting outing to a charity shop, and it was a blast! We’ve been learning all about money in class – how coins and notes work and how to add them up. So, going to the shop was like putting our learning into action.

Our mission was to buy clothes for making animal costumes. Imagine how thrilled we were to pick out colorful fabrics and cool accessories! With our new money skills, we carefully checked price tags and added up the costs. It was like a real-life math adventure!

Now, we can’t wait to create and show off our costumes to our parents. This shopping trip wasn’t just about buying clothes; it was about learning, creativity, and having tons of fun along the way. We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished, and we’re excited for more adventures in learning!
