Preschool activity with clay

The preschool had a chance to visit the art room to make clay stars, from start to finish!

The students first made stars from clay, then wrote their names there, and had to wait for full two weeks for the clay to dry and then fire!

On our second session, the students used underglaze to color their stars. When dry, we dipped the stars in transparent glaze, to make them shiny.

The resuls were beautiful, each star has a small hole for thread, so it can function as a christmas three ornament.
