Visiting Marist College – Florence

One of the many things I do at school is making sure students are getting ready for college. A few weeks ago, we hosted a university fair where several schools around the world set up booths and talked with the high schoolers about their schools, the experiences they may have there, and the requirements to get in. One of them, Marist Italy, invited me to visit their campus in Florence to experience, first-hand, how students study and live there.

The experience was truly amazing. Florence itself is a city rich in culture, history, and art. The food, the markets, and the people in general are fascinating. Marist’s campus is located in several buildings across the city, everything within walking-distance. They have their own dorms and share many courses and spaces with the Lorenzo de Medici Institute. I highly recommend their programs for those looking to study in the Arts departments. Additionally, they have their main campus in New York, where they offer a much wider range of programs.

One of the most rewarding things I did there, was meeting one of the AABa graduates. He seems to be having a great time and a fruitful academic experience. It’s extremely gratifying to see our graduates succeeding abroad in the fields that they most prefer. Here are some of the pictures I took from my time there!
