Unit 3: chocolate

Year 4 looked into the history and geography of chocolate, fair trade, human teeth, nutritional values and probably the most interesting part – how to make our own chocolate. The class was divided into four and they were told to create their own chocolate companies. That included designing packaging, an advertisement, naming their product, calculating costs and profits etc. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to organize a bake-sell due to Covid restrictions, which is why they introduced their companies via Google Sheets in a Primary assembly instead. The audience was allowed to vote afterwards, from which one of these four companies they would like to buy chocolate from based on the slideshow presentations.
