Settling Fay Hallow: A Year 6 Geography Project

The 2019-2020 Year 6 Class has done it again.

As Year 6 continues it’s year-long quest to settle habitable zones on exoplanets, in part 2, students explore how to determine the best use of selected territory from a Geographical perspective. Adela H and Anya B tested their research skills on Earth’s South Pacific Islands and came up with an effective way to settle the area.

FYI: The curriculum did NOT require them to study water filtration systems, earthquake engineering, or baking techniques…. they did that on their own.

Great job, girls!
