A Journey into Art: Year 2 A & B Explore BIBIANA
Yesterday, our Year 2 A & B students enjoyed an exciting and inspiring field trip to BIBIANA – International House of Art for Children, a place where imagination truly comes alive! This visit provided our young learners with a wonderful opportunity to explore and engage with art in a fun, interactive, and hands-on environment.
As part of our new Unit on Art, students are exploring important questions such as: What is art? Where do we see art? Why do people make art? And what inspires us to create art? During their visit, the children experienced these ideas in action as they discovered how art can tell stories, express emotions, and reflect different cultures and perspectives.
Through interactive exhibitions and creative activities, students were encouraged to observe closely, think creatively, and express their ideas. They learned that art is not only something we see in museums and galleries, but also something that exists in our daily lives and within ourselves.
The excitement, curiosity, and enthusiasm shown by our students highlighted the value of learning beyond the classroom. Experiences like this help build confidence, inspire imagination, and support the development of critical thinking and communication skills.
We would like to thank BIBIANA for providing such an engaging and enriching learning experience. This field trip has laid a strong foundation for our upcoming art projects, where our Year 2 learners will continue to explore, experiment, and express their own creative voices.
What a wonderful day of learning, creativity, and inspiration! 🎨✨
