September Motor Skills: Year 1 in Motion

This September, our Year 1 students jumped right into learning — with big smiles and even bigger jumps!

In our last motor skills session of the month, the children followed a playful cone path, hopping and raising their hands as they moved along. What looked like a simple game was actually helping them develop balance, coordination, focus, and confidence.

At this age, movement is learning. Each jump strengthens not only muscles, but also concentration, rhythm, and the ability to follow patterns. Best of all, the children encouraged one another, turning the activity into a joyful shared experience.

We loved seeing the pride on their faces as they completed the challenge. It’s a wonderful reminder that learning can be active, playful, and full of laughter.

We’re excited to see how our Year 1 learners will continue to grow — step by step, jump by jump — throughout the year ahead.
