Wings of Wonder: Y3 Chase Colours at Butterfly House

As part of our exciting unit on Living Things, our Year 3 students took a fascinating trip to the local Butterfly House. The experience brought our classroom discussions to life as students marveled at the vibrant colors and delicate wings of countless butterfly species.

The students learned about how delicate the butterflies are, their diet, and even spotted a chrysalis in the process of transformation.

The highlight of the visit was certainly watching butterflies land gently on arms and shouldersโ€”a magical moment that sparked awe and curiosity in every child.

This hands-on experience enriched our understanding of living things and their environments, leaving us inspired to protect the natural world. It was truly a day to remember!
