Year 12 and 13 art

The students who take art in years 12 and 13 can choose an art program: DP Visual Arts, AP, or Visual Arts Course, which is internally graded by me.

At the start of the semester, all students regardless of their program, learn the basics and fundamentals of art, as this is something they can build upon later.

This was the first display of the semester, it’s a mix of fundamentals – monochrome cubes, color theory basics, still life basics, and experimentation with different media. Students are encouraged to work with a wide variety of media, as the art room features everything from paint, to a pottery wheel, and even stained glass supplies and glass.
