✉️ Time Travel Fun: Making Old-School Christmas Letters in 2B!

Yo! In Year 2B, as part of our “Where We Are in Place and Time” unit, we got super curious about the past. In our mystery box, we found old letters and pictures, and the kiddos were totally amazed! They couldn’t believe how people used to write stuff, how the paper looked, and all the fancy handwriting.

To bring this experience to life, we did a fun little experiment. First, we treated plain paper with coffee to make it look old. Then we sprinkled a bit of salt on it and let it dry for 2–3 days. Once it was ready, the kids wrote their own special Christmas messages for their families.

Now, these letters are all set for our school Christmas market! 🎄✨ Year 2B worked super hard over the past few days, making sure every letter looked amazing. The kids had a blast seeing their papers turn old, writing heartfelt messages, and just enjoying the whole process.

They can’t wait to surprise their families with these cool, old-school Christmas letters. It’s a little piece of history mixed with Christmas magic!
