The House – Year 5 Project

Over the past few weeks, our students worked together during Art lessons to create something truly special a big cardboard house that became a symbol of kindness, teamwork, and cooperation.

The goal of our project was simple but powerful: to show that when we combine our ideas, creativity, and helping hands, we can build something wonderful together. Every student contributed in their own way by cutting, painting, decorating, or designing small details that made the house come alive.

What started as a simple art activity soon turned into a meaningful lesson about working together and supporting one another. Students learned that even though everyone has different ideas and talents, the best results come when we listen, share, and collaborate.

Our “House” proudly stands as a reminder that kindness is something we can all help build with a brush, a smile, or a helping hand. It’s more than just a classroom project it’s a message about friendship, respect, and cooperation.

We were so proud to show our project not only to parents during Open Day but also to other classes across the school. By sharing our work, we hoped to spread the same message of kindness and teamwork throughout our school community.
