A Trolley Full of Apples!

Year 2 and 3 Visit the Bio Apple Orchards

Today, Year 2 and 3 went on a trip to a bio apple orchard for apple picking, as it is the perfect season. It was a wonderful experience!

The children were allowed to pick apples only in certain areas and soon discovered why—not all the apples were ripe yet. They observed many different varieties of apples in various colors and sizes, and they even got to taste some. Together, they filled whole trolleys with apples and also picked a few pears.

Before returning to school, we stopped at the orchard shop, where the children could see and buy healthy fruit products such as raspberry and apple nectars, dried apple chips, syrups, and other delicious treats.

The children truly enjoyed their time at the bio farm. The funniest part of the trip was riding for a short while on the huge trolleys!
