ᴍᴇᴅɪᴀ & ᴊᴏᴜʀɴᴀʟɪꜱᴍ: 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒌 with a 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐

Media and Journalism students took on a fun and challenging project.

They had to put together everything they’ve learned so far, writing, research, lighting, & video editing, to create an interview with a real professional.

The first step was to choose a topic they were interested in. Then, they had to find and contact someone who works in that area. After doing research, they wrote questions and prepared for their interviews.

The students did a great job using three-point lighting to make their videos look professional. They also worked hard to edit their videos and put everything together in a clear and creative way.

This project helped them build important skills, not just in media, but also in speaking, planning, and working with others. They learned what it’s like to be a real journalist, and many of them said they felt proud of what they made.

It was a great experience for everyone involved, students who had no prior knowledge of recording or editing gained valuable insights and hands-on skills in both areas.

Well done to all our students!
