The Persian New Year

As winter comes to an end, we came together to celebrate the Persian New Year, a vibrant and culturally enriching event that brought students and staff together in the spirit of renewal and tradition. The celebration was an opportunity to learn about the significance of Nowruz, a festival that marks the beginning of spring and symbolizes new beginnings, prosperity, and harmony.

The festivities included traditional decorations, cultural presentations, and engaging activities that highlighted the beauty of Persian heritage. Students enjoyed learning about the Haft-Seen table, the symbolic elements of Nowruz, and the customs that make this celebration so special.

It was a wonderful event that fostered cultural appreciation and strengthened our diverse school community.
