A Festive Day with Year 12: Secret Santa and Holiday Cheer
The holiday season is a time to celebrate togetherness, and this year, the Year 12 class made it unforgettable with a joyful Secret Santa exchange. As their class teacher, it was heartwarming to see the students’ excitement and generosity as they exchanged thoughtful gifts. To make the day even more special, I brought cookies, chips, and juice to share, while Christmas carols played in the background, filling the room with festive cheer.
After the gift exchange, we transitioned into playing fun board games, which brought plenty of laughter and friendly competition. It was a delightful way to unwind and enjoy each other’s company before the holiday break. The energy and camaraderie in the room were infectious, and it was clear that everyone was making the most of these moments together.
To cap off this wonderful day, we ventured to the Christmas market in Bratislava, where Year 12 joined Year 10 to share in the festive atmosphere. The students enjoyed warm punch and delicious food while exploring the market’s vibrant stalls. The joy on their faces and the shared conversations made this outing truly special.
This day was not just about celebrating the holidays; it was a celebration of the incredible bond we’ve built throughout the year. As we close out this chapter and look forward to the new year, I want to thank the Year 12 students for making this year so memorable. Your enthusiasm, hard work, and kindness have made every moment worthwhile. Here’s to more learning, growth, and shared experiences in the months ahead.
