The Year 7 students recently worked on an activity to build their global awareness as part of their IB studies.

They focused on the United Nations’ Sustainability Goals and worked in groups to create presentations. Each group picked a goal, like clean water, quality education, or climate action, and learned about why it is important today.

Their presentations included clear explanations, colorful visuals, and useful ideas. This activity helped them better understand the world’s challenges and how they can make a difference.

The activity emphasized collaboration, as students worked in groups, and presentation criteria included clarity, the use of visuals, accuracy of research, and the ability to explain their ideas in an engaging and thoughtful way. This combination of skills and knowledge aimed to inspire students to think globally and take small but meaningful steps toward positive change.
