A Warm Welcome to the EISB Family

Dear EISB Parents,

‘Twas the night before the first day of school, and the uniforms were laid out. Each sock was in place, and the wrinkles were smoothed out. The butterflies in our stomachs were fluttering away, hoping that tomorrow would be a good day.

We woke up with excitement and sparkles in our eyes, then walked up to the gates and said our goodbyes. At EISB, each smile was sincere, and open arms were waiting here.

It was heartwarming to see not only our students but also the staff members sharing laughter and excitement, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with positive energy. What a warm and welcoming first day of school! I am very thankful to all of the families, students, and staff members at EISB for making our first day as a family so meaningful. Mr. Joshua, secondary mathematics, and I, Ms. Ivy, Year 5 Primary, are honored to be a part of such a strong team at EISB.

As we move forward, we want to maintain this positive atmosphere throughout the school year. Here are some tips to help support this effort at home:

Encourage Open Communication: Talk with your child about their day and encourage them to share their thoughts and feelings.
Celebrate Achievements: Recognize and celebrate your child’s accomplishments, no matter how small, to boost their confidence.
Participate in School Events: Join us for school events and activities. Your involvement fosters a sense of community and belonging.
Practice Positive Reinforcement: Encourage good behavior and effort at home. Positive reinforcement helps motivate children to do their best.
Promote Inclusivity: Teach your child the importance of kindness and empathy towards their peers.

Our family thanks you for the kindness you have shown us, and we look forward to meeting each of you as the weeks progress. Together, let’s continue to nurture the positive energy that makes EISB such a special place.

Best regards,
Ms. Ivy
