Meeting with the writer

During the presentation of the books, Saška from MYP4 brought a book by Lenka Riečanská, who is an author for adults, but also for teenagers. The author is a current Slovak writer who lives in Bratislava and who accepted my invitation. Her original profession is an economist, who stopped enjoying numbers and therefore began to devote herself to letters. She writes stories that she knows from her surroundings, about people who allow her to become the heroes of her books. She always gives her heroes the grace denied by fate, and her stories have a better and kinder ending than in life. Lenka Riečanská is also a member of the Association of Slovak Writers, and with her visit to the EISB, we also commemorated the anniversary of this important institution.
