Mixing it Up with Year 1

Inspired by the book “Mouse Paint,” the Year 1 class embarked on a colorful adventure, experimenting with the art of mixing their own hues. Armed with pipettes and containers filled with red, yellow, and blue water, the children joyfully blended these primary colors to create an array of new and vibrant shades.

Excited  by the success of their watercolor exploration, the children were eager to extend their creative endeavors using playdough. With pots of red, yellow, and blue playdough at their disposal, the class set out to discover the exciting possibilities of crafting entirely new colors through the mixing of these colors.
