Pumpkin carving activity

Students of the Visual arts course got to experience a brief change of pace with a pumpkin carving activity, which offered this organic but unrtaditional media to sculpt with.

This took some prior preparation, as this can be quite messy.

While getting the materials, I felt as a person from a math book – if Miss Jana has 6 pumpkins…

Needles to say, the students enjoyed it, even though there’s always at least one student, who chooses to paint. 🙂

We used the carved pumpkins to decorate the exit of a haunted maze that we created during the halloweek.
