Personal Project Certificate Ceremony

Our students received a token of appreciation from the International Baccalaureate and our teachers for their hard work on Personal Projects.

MYP students in their final year explore an area of personal interest over an extended period. It provides them the opportunity to consolidate their learning and develop important skills they’ll need in both further education and life beyond the classroom. It also helps them develop confidence to become principled, lifelong learners.

Our students learned:

  • how to compose and record a song,
  • how to make an evening gown,
  • how to design a house and create a small model of it,
  • how to create cosmetics with healing purposes,
  • how to make a motorcycle,
  • how to create a computer game,
  • how to film a documentary.

The point of the Personal Project is not only to deliver a final product, but to learn how to plan, research, report and reflect on one’s own work.
