Upcoming University Events

Dear Academy Parents,

Please find below a list of four upcoming university events your child may attend (there is also one event which parents are encouraged to attend!). Please note that some of them will be held online and some will be held in-person at EISB. 

Sept 29th at 4:00 PM – JK Education – Online Webinar

This is an online event for both students AND parents to learn more about universities and colleges and the partnerships that JK Education has with them. Students in Year 11 / Grade 10 and up are invited (including parents!). Please find the link to the Webinar here.

Oct 13th at 3:00 PM – Anglo-American University in Prague – Online Virtual Open House

Virtual Open House – Students can register for it here if they are interested in any of the programs at the Anglo-American University of Prague. Please note this is a reputable English university with many interesting bachelor programs you should check out. You can explore the various bachelor degrees they offer here.

Oct 13th at 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM – The Student World International University Fair (Online)

Virtual Open House – Register here. For students who are interested in exploring and learning more about many reputable universities around the world. Below is a list of the participating universities that students can learn more about during this online event:

*Keep in mind that this event overlaps with the online event for Anglo-American University of Prague. So you can choose which one to attend. Or, if you want to attend both, then you can join one and then the other one after that (e.g., the AAU event from 3-4 PM then the NOVVA one from 4-5 PM).

Oct 18th from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM – JK Education – University Expo will be held at EISB!

This is a must attend event for all students in Years 12/13 and Grades 11/12. It is also encouraged that students in Year 11 / Grade 10 attend as well. The expo will take place in the canteen from 9:30 – 11:00 AM and will serve as great opportunity for students to learn more about various universities around the world as well as meet with knowledgeable representatives from these universities who can answer their specific questions about programs, etc. So far, representatives from the following universities have confirmed their attendance for this event:

  • EU Business school (campuses in Germany, Switzerland and Spain)
  • Hult International Business school (campuses in USA/UK/Dubai/Shanghai)
  • Hotel Institute Montreux (Swiss Education Group)
  • Swiss Hotel Management School (Swiss Education Group)
  • Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland (Swiss Education Group)
  • Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland (Swiss Education Group)
  • Marist College (campuses in USA and Italy)
  • Montpellier Business school (campus in France)
  • ARCHIP (campus in the Czech Republic)
  • Canadian College
  • Arizona State University (Kaplan International)
  • Simmons University (Kaplan International)
  • Pace University (Kaplan International)
  • The University of Connecticut (Kaplan International)

*Please note that (1) more universities may be added to this list across the next few weeks, and (2) some of these universities have campuses in multiple countries.

Nov 11th – Exact Time TBD – Visit from Modul University and EUC

A representative from Modul University in Vienna and the European Universities Consortium (EUC) will come to EISB to speak to us about the different university and program options they have to offer there. The exact time of the event is still to be determined. I will post the time here when it is confirmed.
