It was very thrilling to see the excitement of the youngest students in Year 2 to finally start learning German. Then they have met Hans Hase and Hocus Lotus and fell in love with German

The Y3 were learning about sports and because the German speaking world is celebrating the St.Martin’s day on the 11. 11., we have studied the story of St.Martin and some children crafted their lanterns (similar to those used in the St.Martin’s day processions in the German speaking countries).

Also, the older children have been studying some interesting topics in German , including Human body, Visiting a doctor, Travelling, Living in the city or at the countryside… Here are for example two photos of the travel brochures created by MYP2 students to perform the dialogue “At the travel agency”.
