Year 6 Biology Unit – Creating Hybrids

Year 6 recently completed their Biology unit focused on CHANGE: adaption, natural selection, mutations, breeding, etc. Integrating this information with farming the students studied the process of creating hybrids of plants and animals.

For their final project, the students integrated their previous units of space and geography to create hybrids that they would create and to help colonize new planets.
