A Boo-tiful Halloween! 👻
The last week before the school holidays was truly special for our school in many ways! It was a week full of fun, creativity, excitement, and unforgettable moments.
Throughout the week, students had the chance to leave their school uniforms at home and enjoy a variety of themed dress-up days. From cosy pyjamas to matching outfits with friends and dressing up as their favourite sports icons, every day brought something new and exciting!
But the highlight of the week was definitely Friday, the last day before the holidays, when our Preschool and Primary students were invited to come to school in their Halloween costumes and enjoy a spooktacular celebration!
Together with Ms. Chaitali, I had the pleasure of hosting this exciting event. We kicked things off with a fantastic costume parade, where each class had the opportunity to show off their creative and spooky outfits while walking to the rhythm of music. We spotted quite a few Michael Jacksons, plenty of witches, and many other amazing characters! 🎃
After the parade, it was time for some Halloween fun and games! The children enjoyed playing frozen statues and taking part in funny challenges whenever a pumpkin-shaped basket suddenly stopped in front of them. There was plenty of laughter, dancing, and excitement, and the children had an absolute blast!
To wrap up our celebration, Ms. Eva announced the winners of several Halloween competitions, including Best Costume, Best Carved Pumpkin, and Best Decorated or Spookiest Classroom Door, among others. It was wonderful to see so much creativity and effort from everyone!
And what better way to end such a fantastic day than with a sweet treat? Before heading home, each child received a delicious muffin to enjoy.
With happy faces, sweet treats, and lots of wonderful memories, our Halloween party came to an end.
What a fun and spooky way to finish the school term and welcome the holidays! 🎃✨
