A wild day at the ZOO
Last week, our preschool class had an exciting adventure — a trip to the zoo! The day was full of laughter, learning, and lots of animal fun.
As soon as we arrived, the children’s eyes lit up with excitement. Our first stop was the monkey exhibit, and it quickly became a favorite! The monkeys were swinging, jumping, and making all sorts of loud, silly sounds. The kids couldn’t resist trying to “talk” back — we had our own little monkey choir!
Next, we visited the reptile house, where we saw some fascinating snakes. The children were amazed at how still and quiet the snakes were compared to our noisy monkey friends.

Then we came across a group of cute meerkats standing tall on their hind legs, keeping watch just like tiny guards! The children loved watching them pop in and out of their tunnels and chatter to one another. Everyone agreed the meerkats were some of the cutest animals we saw all day.
We also spotted a sleepy sloth hanging from a tree branch, a big bear strolling around its habitat, and a beautiful lioness resting in the shade. The kids loved seeing the giraffes stretch their long necks to reach the leaves and the zebras showing off their fancy black-and-white stripes.

Before we left, we stopped by the flamingos, whose bright pink feathers and one-legged poses made everyone giggle.

It was a wonderful day full of curiosity, discovery, and joy. The children came back with happy hearts, tired feet, and plenty of wild stories to tell!
