Victory of our school’s basketball team in Brno

At the end of March, 12th-grade students Imre, Matvii, Randy, and Shizhuo, as part of our school team, participated in a basketball game in Brno against the International School of Brno team . I asked Randy to share his impressions of the event.

Randy:

On March 30 Monday, our basketball team traveled to Brno for an exciting re- match against the international school of Brno. The gym was full of students, and everyone was cheering.

Our school basketball team played in Brno. This time, our attack was very strong. We passed the ball quickly, moved well, and scored many baskets. Everyone helped in the attack. In the second half of the game Yan helped me with my first point of the game  and it helped us win the game.

Our school basketball team played a game in Brno. In the past, our biggest problem was defending. We often let the other team score too easily, and it made games difficult for us.

This time, things were different. Before the game, we talked about improving our defense and helping each other on the court. During the match, Matvii and Imre made a lot of steals and blocks in the half court and under the basket, everyone else focused on staying close to their player, blocking passes, and working together.

In the end, we won the game. Yan scored the most points, second was Matvii and third was Imre. To celebrate, we all sat down together and enjoyed pizza. Everyone was smiling and talking about the best moments of the match.
