Art room changes and additions

Every year, I try to make the art room better, bigger, and better equipped. It’s amazing to say, that we are stacked to the brim with quality paint and supplies to last us for years, so the students can create freely.

The amazing addition of the 3D printed in the art room was a total game changer, skulls/hands for anatomy projects, pencil holders, and much more are making our lives much easier and better, and to be honest, I can’t imagine not having the 3D printer available, as it’s such a massive help.

This year, I also added more shelves in spaces, that were originally closed cupboards featuring only one shelf. With this change, we have 3 more times ammount of storage for student works, as this is especially important for bigger classess to stay organised.

We also got these animal skulls as a gift from a neighbour of one of our teachers. Things like these should be available in any proper art room, as the skills gained from observational drawing, are some of the most important ones when it comes to art and artmaking.
