Year 5 – Entertainment Afternoon

During our recent Entertainment Afternoon, the Year 5 students had the wonderful opportunity to present a collection of poems to the school community and visiting parents. After the opening introduction, our class took the stage and confidently shared their work with the audience.

The students had been preparing their poems in advance, practicing pronunciation, expression, and stage presence. When the moment arrived, they performed with great enthusiasm and confidence. It was fantastic to see how well they supported one another and how proud they felt after presenting in front of such a large audience.

Their performance demonstrated not only their growing language and communication skills, but also their courage and teamwork. Presenting poetry aloud can be challenging, but the students handled it wonderfully and truly rose to the occasion.

We are incredibly proud of how Year 5 represented our class and the primary school. Their hard work paid off, and it was a joy to see them enjoy the experience and celebrate their success together.
