Collaborative art projects

Every year, every class participates in several collaborative projects. The featured image is the art room ceiling, which is an ongoing project, and every year, that year’s year 10 adds new canvases to it during the ceiling painting unit. The 3 black and white fineliner images in this post are a result of an art activity, when each student has a paper, draws on it for a few minutes, and then passes it to the right, until at least 4 people worked on the same paper.

That way, the results are always original and unexpected, and overall, this is a great way to get creative in an experimental, free way.

This painting features the hand prints of most EISB teachers, and it was done with acrylic paint on a foam board. Some teachers even got super creative, and instead of one solid color, they opted for various color combinations and gradients.
