EISB’s Aneta Václavíková Achieves Success in International Ice Dance

Students at the English International School of Bratislava (EISB) regularly demonstrate that dedication, discipline, and passion can lead to remarkable achievements. One such student is Aneta Vaclavikova (year 10), a talented young ice dancer who is making a name for herself in competitive figure skating.

Rising in the Junior Ice Dance Ranks

Aneta competes in ice dance, a discipline of figure skating that emphasizes rhythm, precision, musical interpretation, and strong partnership skills. Skating with her partner William Lissauer, she has quickly established herself as a promising competitor in the junior ice dance category.

Ice dance requires not only technical skill but also exceptional teamwork, as partners must perform complex step sequences, twizzles, lifts, and choreographic movements in perfect synchronization.

Strong Results in U.S. National-Level Competition

This season, Aneta and William achieved excellent results in the U.S. competitive circuit. At the Pacific Coast Sectional Singles & U.S. Ice Dance Final, they earned a bronze medal in the Junior Ice Dance category, securing their place among the top junior teams in the region.

The pair continued their success at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, where they finished 4th overall (pewter medal) in Junior Ice Dance.

With impressive results early in her competitive career, Aneta continues to develop as an ice dancer and gain valuable experience at high-level competitions.

Looking Ahead

We look forward to following Aneta’s continued progress and celebrating her future achievements on the ice.

Great job, Aneta!
