Year 10 group 1 Math Class Embraces Halloween Spirit with candy
Halloween is always a special time of year at the English International School of Bratislava, and this year’s celebration brought a wonderful touch of fun and festivity to the classroom! As part of our Spooky Week, the Year 10 Math students ended the week with a delightful surprise—a mini Halloween celebration right during their math lesson.

While the students were expecting just another day of equations and problem-solving, they were pleasantly surprised when the classroom transformed into a space filled with laughter, treats, and festive energy. To keep the spirit of Halloween alive, the students received candies and small surprises, adding a bit of sweetness to their academic day. The joy on their faces perfectly captured the excitement of the season and the balance between learning and celebration that makes our school community so special.

Even though it was a simple in-class activity, the students truly appreciated the thoughtfulness behind it. The celebration was a reminder that school is not only about academics but also about building memories and sharing positive moments together. Combined with all the other Halloween-themed activities organized by the school during the week—costumes, decorations, and games—this small event made the festive atmosphere complete.
It was a truly heartwarming and fun-filled Halloween at the English International School of Bratislava, full of smiles, laughter, and, of course, plenty of candy! Year 10 students left the class not only with a stronger love for math but also with wonderful memories of this spooky and joyful celebration.
