Ypsilon Competition at EISB: Celebrating Our Students’ Success!

On November 28, 2024, the nationwide Ypsilon – Slovina je hra competition took place during Slovak language lessons at EISB. As the Slovak language teacher, I coordinated and facilitated the event at our school.

This competition is designed as an engaging challenge for elementary school students and those in 8-year grammar schools, focusing on Slovak language and literature. Its primary goal is to promote and popularize Slovak as a subject while motivating students to excel in written tests and assessments. The interactive test format encourages creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability in students.

In the Year 3 category, our students performed exceptionally well. Nino and Nela achieved an outstanding score of 100%, showcasing not only their knowledge but also their dedication and enthusiasm for the Slovak language.

However, I would like to highlight the effort of all participants. Each student demonstrated determination and hard work, contributing to the overall positive and inspiring atmosphere of the competition. It is truly wonderful to see our students actively engaging in such events and developing their language skills.

I extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their achievements. Below, you can find photos of students who scored above 90%.
