MYP2/Gr7 frog inspired art

The MYP2/Gr7 class has worked very hard on these beautiful frog paintings, inspired by the artist Nick Gustafson. This art assignment is great for practiging color theory, patterns, negative space, and composition. The students were able to take inspiration from Nick Gustafson’s artwork, and to make it their own, as long as the artwork features contrasting colours, and at least one frog.

Student approaches often varied from artwork to artwork, which I’m always happy to see.
