Year 6 Students visit Sered Holocaust Museum
On 17 June, Year 6 students visited the Sered Holocaust Museum here in Slovakia. This was as part of both their studies about World War II, and their culminating efforts of understanding the values of the PYP Programme.
The site is on the actual location of a labour and concentration camp which was used during World War II. Thes students learned a lot about the actual history of the camp and the horrendous problems faced by Jewish and other people in Slovakia in the 1930s and 1940s.
