A Pet Charity Drive Spearheaded by Alicia from Year 7
At EISB, we believe in nurturing not only the minds but also the hearts of our students. This belief was beautifully exemplified by our student Alicia (Year 7), who recently took the reins in organizing a pet charity drive.
With empathy and a desire to make a difference, Alicia proposed to support animals in need by collecting pet food, towels, toys, blankets, bowls, leashes and other supplies pets need. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it didn’t take long for her vision to become a reality.
Setting up a collection point at the school’s reception area, Alicia wasted no time in spreading the word about the initiative. Through posters, announcements, and word of mouth, she gathered support from her peers, teachers, and parents.
Bags of pet food and stacks of pets’ supplies began to fill the collection boxes, each donation a testament to the kindness and empathy within our school community.
Alicia’s impact extends far beyond the physical donations collected. Through her initiative, she has sparked conversations about the importance of empathy, responsibility, and giving back. She has shown us that even the smallest act of kindness can make a world of difference in the lives of those in need.
Thank you, Alicia, for reminding us of the power of compassion and for inspiring us to be the change we wish to see in the world!
