Open Day at EISB: Friday, 14/11/2025
Open Day at the English International School of Bratislava was truly inspiring. Watching our students present their work with confidence filled me with pride.
In the auditorium, students gave thoughtful presentations on topics such as ecosystems, Individuals and Societies, History, and Business. They demonstrated impressive communication skills, deep knowledge of their courses, and strong stage presence.
Meanwhile, our workshop space focused on Science and Mathematics. Some students showcased their understanding of Binomial Expansion in Mathematics and Friction in Physics, while others presented Biology projects explaining the structure and function of the human respiratory system.
They created clear, informative posters, explained each step carefully, and showed how mathematical and scientific thinking can be visual, practical, and creative.
Across the rooms, students shared their science and design projects with energy and teamwork. I observed groups performing experiments, discussing models, and engaging visitors with maturity and enthusiasm.
Days like this remind me how quickly students grow when they are given the space to explore, question, and share what they have learned. They also remind me that, as a teacher, I grow alongside them—one presentation, one lesson, one moment at a time.
It was a wonderful day for our school and a proud moment for all of us.
