EISB Year 2 – Visits The President’s Palace

Recently, Year 2 had the opportunity to have a private tour of the Presidential Palace. They toured the different rooms that are used by the president and his various advisers. Our kids learned about the president’s formalities; the president always sits in the middle chair and to the right of him is his most trusted and important adviser. The children enjoyed seeing the changing of the guards and managed to get one of the guards to almost smile when he saw all of the kids smiling and waving to him.

EISB Year 5 – Visits Nitra CastleY5 embarked on a field trip to Nitra Castle on a gorgeous, sunny day.  Their fun-filled day entailed a visit to the Nitra castle.  The castle is equipped with a Systine Chapel-like ceiling, crypts and an outdoor theatre. Following the visit to the castle, the children enjoyed a tasty lunch in a park with a petting zoo and a labyrinth where Year 5 enjoyed a tag session. As Laiana put it, ‘Best Day Ever!’
