Halloween Year 5

Spread the love

This year, our students had the opportunity to take part in several Halloween competitions, showing off their imagination, artistic talents and enthusiasm.

Our Year 5 students were especially enthusiastic about the Pumpkin Carving and Decorating Competition. Many of them proudly brought their spooky pumpkins to school, each one unique and full of creativity. From scary faces to imaginative designs, the pumpkins were truly impressive. Their hard work and effort certainly paid off, as several of our students received awards and certificates for their fantastic creations.

We also took part as a class in the Halloween Door Decoration Competition. The students put a lot of effort into transforming our classroom door into something truly special. They came up with their own original ideas, created decorations and worked hard to bring their vision to life. Our door featured 3D pumpkins, each individually created by a student. Every student made their own pumpkin and then cut out their own eyes and mouth, which they attached to their pumpkin to give it a unique personality. What made their work particularly special was how much they relied on their own imagination and creativity. They showed just how talented, resourceful and independent they can be. It was wonderful to see everyone working together, sharing ideas and taking such pride in their work. Although we did not win first place in the competition, the most important thing was the creative process, the teamwork and the enthusiasm with which the whole class got involved.

Another exciting highlight was the costume competition, where the award for Best Costume this year went to Roxy from our class.
