Year 6 quote for our current development

Year 6 can be a challenging time for children, as they are transitioning from being smaller children to being tweens and preparing for their Academy years. Every set of students in every year is a little bit different. This year, students in the class are often feeling that, if their classmate is doing something (be it positive or negative), then they should do the same. We are incorporating the idea of the quote below into our lessons, as we move forward into December.

Teaching everyone to be strong, thoughtful and independent is such a large part of what we do here at EISB.
