Abstract art

Art is not just about painting from observation, it’s about expression, using various materials, and experimenting with media. Sometimes, it’s important to create works that sort of create themselves, to see where the process can take us.

Within abstract art, the possibilities are endless, and we can find inspiration in anything, for example geometry.

Artworks like these allow students to stop worrying whether this or that brushstroke was good, if the source of light is correct, or if the composition looks okay.

Countless artists use abstract art as means of expression, and it’s true for our students as well.
