CAS During Summer – Alexandra DP2

During my summer break , I was from 14- 17 of July helping with a summer camp called George science which is run by one of my dearest friends. It was a camp for children which involved work in the lab and making experiments which was run at our school. I was working from 8am-2pm. I was mainly helping with children’s experiments like for example pouring food coloring or milk onto their trays. I was helping with the activities like sand art or making a doll from scratch , I was a translator for some kids who did not speak Slovak. Lastly I was also cleaning up after some experiments that we have done. The reason I wanted to do it is because I wanted to help out my friend and I really would like to work with kids in the future. This experience gave me a good perspective on how kids are. It taught me to be patient,  to keep my ground , and to be a very good listener. It also taught me to be a problem solver and  teamwork with my colleagues and good communication.
